So I am sure I am not the only person to have used plush cotton towels in winter enjoying the plushness but cursing after towelling and having left them to air dry that they were still a sorry, soggy mess upon returning.
So what to do, air dry outside in this weather hmm maybe not! Tumble dryer it is hmm not great either for my pocket when bill arrives or the environment in more ways than one.
Is there a solution well, up until stumbling across this website I wasn’t sure so I looked into pros and cons of these huckaback towels and thought why not try them out, so I did!
Wow! What a pleasure they are to use, yes they do feel thinner and maybe a little more bracing in first few uses but besides that have not found a flaw yet.
Not only are they ridiculously absorbent but they towel me down quicker, much less bulky to store away, they actually dry out between uses and they clean up wonderfully plus when washed they actually dry out super quick with NO need for tumble dryer!
So to sum up quick to dry me, quicker for them to dry out between uses, less bulky, less drying time when washed, super absorbent and much better for environment compared to cotton towels and their big drain on resources and ecosystems especially compared to flax from which linen is derived.
Yes if you have your doubts they maybe slightly more than your average towel cost wise but trust me they are worth the investment, you will not regret it!
These towels are high quality linen. In fact I used them in my Christmas decorating, as mini table cloths on small tables! They looked like candy canes! As tea towels, they are fantastic - absorbent and lint-free. I have also bought two other sets of tea towels from LInenMe and they are of the same quality. In fact the silver linen tea towels have been relegated to the bathroom as hand towels! They are that good!
I've bought one to try with a view to using them in my hospitality business - I've been looking for something a little more funky and stylish than ordinary front of house wear. So far - excellent. The fit is a little variable if you have broad shoulders, but the apron is comfortable and allows you to work easily and it's great not to have to fiddle with ties - but a cloth loop would be useful. Once I've worn it and washed it several times I will make a decision on business use, but for the home kitchen - perfect!
These really are OFF WHITE, more creamy than taupe or grayish. The picture looks whiter than they do in person. Pretty, actually very lovely quality and fabric but looks very creamy in a white bathroom.

Only reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 is that the colour was a little lighter than the photos but overall pleased with the service.
Recently purchased this towel, as I was looking for a really absorbent towel. I can say that this is definitely very absorbent, it is a little rough but this doesn't bother me. The towel is of great quality, if I want another towel I will definitely order from here again.
Great towel, remains soft as you dry your skin, absorbs water nicely. Towel will leave fuzz on your skin when firsted used, so before using wash at least 2 times and dry at low temperature. Towel will not shrink and remains soft.
