When properly looked after, our linen homewares will keep on looking beautiful and performing brilliantly for years. Here's what you need to know about caring for your linen product:
Washing
- Machine wash up to 104°F – don't use higher temperatures as these can damage the fabric's fibres, causing wear and shrinkage.
- Wash linen items separately from other fabrics.
- Separate white, dark and coloured linens.
- Use the gentle cycle and don't overload your machine – ensuring garments have sufficient space means they can rinse and dry properly.
- Never use bleach
Drying and storing
- Tumble dry on a low heat or gentle setting.
- If ironing, steam rather than simply hot pressing.
- Make sure linen items are completely dry before putting away.
- Store somewhere dry (preferably in linen bags)
Colour and sunlight
- Our linen is dyed gently, without harsh chemical fixatives, to preserve the natural character of the fibre.
- Prolonged direct sunlight may cause colours to fade over time – this is a natural characteristic of linen, not a fault.
- For very sunny rooms, natural or undyed shades are the most lightfast.
- Rotate or reverse curtains occasionally so the colour ages evenly.
- Dry coloured linen away from direct sun.

I bought one of these towels a year ago. It has been so good, I just bought another. They are compact for travelling and dry very quickly. The original shows no sign of wear and very little colour fading. I did buy another similar linen towel from another supplier, and after 30 or so washes is still shedding so much lint as to be unusable - I should have returned it. These LinenMe towels don't shed any lint and I think they are great. I genuinely recommend LinenMe towels. James, London UK.

This is the is the 7th waffle linen towel I have purchased over the years for myself and as gifts. I guess that speaks for itself! I love the quick drying feature the best--these towels never get that funky, damp towel smell. The bit of exfoliating quality is nice, too. Love all the earth-friendly qualities of linen, as well. Warm, attractive colors. So far seem to be holding up well to repeated use/laundering---so well worth the price in the long term. Highly recommended!

I love that I was able to support this ethically minded, artisan business. I believe in spending a little extra money on things you use every day, like a towel. Although not as soft as a "traditional" towel, this linen towel soaks up water fast leaving my skin dry and warm after stepping out of the shower even during a Michigan winter. It is a beautiful color, dries fast, packs well, and I love that I can hang it from the swen on loop. In the future I will consider buying a smaller towel to pack when traveling/backpacking. Thank you!
